Bach-Millennium Music offers a unique program in opera collaboration with a resident orchestra, designed to provide singers, conductors and pianists/coaches with a professional experience.
For singers, the curriculum will include daily rehearsals with conductor and orchestra, individual voice lessons and coaching with leading international faculty, preparation of arias and ensembles for professional stage in a supportive environment, collaboration with conducting students, lectures and master classes in body alignment, acting and presentation in the world of singing, a final public performance, and video recordings of both concert and rehearsals.
For conductors, the curriculum will include daily podium time, daily reviewing of recordings and discussion, work with internationally recognized faculty and a fully professional orchestra, score analysis and conducting technique, focus on operatic repertoire with singers, lectures and master classes, final public performances, and video recordings of both rehearsals and a concert.
For pianists/coaches, the curriculum will include daily meeting with coaching faculty, sessions with conducting students and faculty, observation and practical experience in vocal coaching, participation in master classes, classes in operatic score preparation, observations of orchestral sessions with conductors and singers.
The program faculty will be led by veteran German opera conductor Professor Maestro Matthias Kuntzsch, Maestro Alexander Katsman, joined by Professor Timothy Bach, Founder Dramatic Soprano Milena Georgieva, Soprano Molly Fillmore, Dramatic Soprano Professor Sylvia Anderson, Soprano Patricia Craig and others.
