Our Mission
Bach-Millennium Music is a non-profit company, organized to empower singers, conductors and vocal coaches in their pursuits of artistry in the field of opera by offering unique, intensive educational training programs where students can learn and excel through daily practice with a resident professional orchestra, master classes, individual lessons, seminars, workshops and public performing opportunities.

Bach-Millennium Music offers a unique program in opera collaboration with a resident orchestra, designed to provide singers, conductors and pianists/coaches with a professional experience.
For singers, the curriculum will include daily rehearsals with conductor and orchestra, individual voice lessons and coaching with leading international faculty, preparation of arias and ensembles for professional stage in a supportive environment, collaboration with conducting students, lectures and master classes in body alignment, acting and presentation in the world of singing, public performances, and video recordings of the concerts.
For conductors, the curriculum will include daily morning and afternoon podium time, daily reviewing of recordings and discussion, work with internationally recognized faculty and a fully professional orchestra, score analysis and conducting technique, focus on operatic repertoire with singers, lectures and master classes, a final public performance, and video recordings of both rehearsals and a concert.
For pianists/coaches, the curriculum will include daily meeting with coaching faculty, sessions with conducting students and faculty, observation and practical experience in vocal coaching, participation in master classes, classes in operatic score preparation, observations of orchestral sessions with conductors and singers.
The program faculty will be led by veteran German opera conductor Maestro Matthias Kuntzsch, joined by Maestro Alexander Katsman, Professor Timothy Bach, Dramatic Soprano Milena Georgieva Bach and others.

Daily Schedule
Be prepared to be present between 10:00-5:00. All activities are on rotating principle, allowing you to have some time between classes for reviewing notes, preparation for what comes next and getting to know your new friends. We have an open door policy as we believe that we learn from one another. We greatly encourage you to use the opportunity and enter as many rehearsals/classes/lessons as you can. Observe other students' work as much as your schedule allows it.

Founded in 1851, Santa Clara University is the oldest institution of higher learning in California. The campus is surrounded by the historic Mission Santa Clara de Asis which traces its founding to 1776. The campus mirrors the Mission's architectural style, and provides a fine early example of Mission Revival Architecture.
